Welcome
Welcome to The JamHouse Forum.

Hi, I'm Tony Avery, founder of The JamHouse. The JamHouse is a free jam club whereby musicians and vocalists actually gather to jam and perform with one another in a friendly, easy going, non competitive, and fun atmosphere. The motto of The JamHouse is: Musicians Honoring Musicians. And it is within this spirit that we meet, play music, and socialize with one another.

The JamHouse Forum is an extension of The JamHouse and is used by The JamHouse members and guests to better know one another. The forum can also help in scheduling jams, rehearsals, gigs, parties, cookouts, and other events within our membership.

The original JamHouse provided a place where member musicians and vocalists could come to enjoy socializing with one another and to jam, form bands, rehearse, collaborate, and to have a great time playing the music they love. The JamHouse opened on Dec. 8th, 2007 with 23 members in attendance and has been going strong ever since. While originally our jams were held on private property we were subject to space limitations so our jams were open to a limited number of members per jam. Our member base has grown to the point where we now meet at local venues around Raleigh where our numbers can be better accommodated. Venues such as Fat Daddy's, Reds, Tailgaters, MVP's, The Pickled Onion, Bonedaddy's Hideaway, and The Korner Pocket.

By joining this free forum and music community, you will be able to read and post topics, you'll be able to communicate privately with other members (PM), respond to polls, upload content, and access many other special features such as email, right from our forum. Registration is fast, simple, and absolutely free. Our events are free also unless the event is held at a private club that requires a cover charge such as Bonedaddy's Hideaway.

JamHouse members receive notices and email invitations to jam. When you receive an invitation it is important that you RSVP your intentions to attend, or not, for any particular jam. Another musician can be invited in your place if you cannot be here. Playing time is limited even at venues around town, and we wish not to "over invite" which results in less quility playing time for all.

As a forum member you are encouraged to submit a member bio, song list, and any other info that will help members to better know one another. Of course attending our jams is a fast and fun way to meet other members.

Thanks for visiting The JamHouse Forum. Please call on me if I can be of any assistance to you.

From someone who was there. Thank you Brother Easu. I had a blast. :)

My compliments to the band, Brother Esau, who performed at The Tavern in Durham last night. I really enjoyed their show. Brother Easu had a good crowd to come in too. I could see that both the band and the fans were pumped and excited about the evening. It was a great night and the band gave us an outstanding performance. Great sound too. The Pa Man and his assistant did a very good job.

Beyond all the fantastic music, Brother Easu's stage presence showed me just how much fun they were having too. The band was not only energetic, they were very pleasant and had great audience appeal. In between playing their songs Brother Easu's band members talked with many of dancers who kelp a constant presence in front of the stage all evening long. Brother Easu was very friendly and made the crowd feel right at home, creating a warm and pleasant feeling among everyone. I enjoyed all the good vibes that filled the entire venue. I spoke with many of the patrons last night too and all said they were having a terrific time and were very appreciative of the band for providing them with such an enjoyable evening. Of course, I already knew that from watching the dancing and the smiles, and from hearing the patrons in conversation with one another, and with me.

To the band I have to say I'm very glad I made your show and hope to see you again soon. I have placed a comment about your band on my musicians web page at http://jamhouserocks.com. I have also added your band name to The JamHouse Collage which you'll see on the web page. I will support Brother Easu at every opportunity I can. I noticed that you are already booked back at The Tavern in March. I would like to discuss with the band the possibility of Brother Easu performing at a JamHouse show. Let's talk soon.

Brother Easu, you guys are a class act. Stay cool guys.

Thanks,
Tony @ The JamHouse : )
